This will be the last post of this blog. I've had fun writing it, but over the course of this last year, my interest in blogging has run its course.
The best part of blogging has been meeting some wonderful bloggers, whom I'll drop in on from time to time: Tabor, at her beautifully illustrated "One Day at a Time" http://tabordays.blogspot.com/; Wally Blue at "Peacheater Creek" http://www.wallaceblue.blogspot.com/; Cowtown Pattie at "Texas Trifles" http://www.texastrifles.blogspot.com/; Joared at "Along the Way" http://joared-along.blogspot.com/; and Terri at "Writing Away on Cedar Key" http://www.islandwriter.net/. Thank you friends, for giving me a glimpse of your lives, tastes, and ideas.
Your heart has not been in this hobby and I am guessing that your book is taking up more than enough of your creative time. Blogging is so strange, though, because it is not like a neighbor moving out of the neighborhood where you both plan on keeping in touch. It means they are moving out of the galaxy and they may or may not keep in touch!

I hate to see you go. I've enjoyed reading your blog.

I am sorry to see you go...but I more than understand. Thank you for all the thought-provoking posts and for opening your life up to those of us out here trying to connect with souls who try to make a difference, who do, through their contributions big and small, make the world a better place for all of us. God bless and Godspeed as you go about your days!
Sincerely,
Laurie

My blogging experience has been ever so enriched by the smart, witty, brilliant people I've met online.
Mary Lee, because of your blog, and because of your wonderfully touching book about your father, I feel you are as much a "real life" friend, it not more than.
My door is always open, be it in real time or online. Send an email. Flash a Bat-signal or a tap out a cosmic SOS,. and I'll come runnin'!
Namaste

I have been an occasional reader of this blog for several years and today logged on after hearing a piece on NPR about identifying remains of a sailor killed at Pearl Harbor. I enjoyed my occasional visits to your life. Hope all is well in your world.
